INDIGO Technology Overview - Purer and Higher His-tagged Protein Yields

The INDIGO His-tag purification method by Cube Biotech offers distinct advantages over traditional resins like Ni-NTA. INDIGO resins are engineered for stability in challenging conditions. Ni-INDIGO features a high binding capacity (>100 mg/mL) and maintains stability across extreme conditions, including resistance to 20 mM EDTA and DTT. This increased resilience minimizes non-specific binding, enhancing the purity and yield of His-tagged proteins. Furthermore, INDIGO products reduce metal ion leaching, maintaining consistent binding capacity and improving experimental reproducibility. These properties make INDIGO ideal for applications where protein integrity and precise downstream processing are critical.

Copolymer Nanodisc

Cube Biotech’s Copolymer Nanodiscs provide a stable, membrane-mimicking environment essential for studying sensitive membrane proteins. Copolymer Nanodisc are small disc-shaped structures, composed of cell membrane phospholipids that are held together by a Copolymer ring.
Using copolymers like DIBMA, SMA, AASTY, and advanced Amphipols, these nanodiscs circumvent the limitations of detergents, which can destabilize proteins. Each copolymer type offers unique benefits:
  • DIBMA – low light absorption
  • SMA – high solubilization rates
  • AASTY –  high monomer uniformity
